Hi

Ive been trying to figure out the d-link 825 basic media server as most of my nas boxes have a solid
twonkyserver

my problem with the 825 Hardfware C1 and firmware 3.00 I have is the key disc I add files
on formusic and video were not showing on on windows 7 or smart tvs in house

until I noticed this file in the root and opened the DB use sqlDB viewer I have and saw
what was stored and it didnt have any of the new files

so this is what I found out and how I fixed it. I thought I share this as im sure others
will experience the same

====

on the drive connected to the usb port
If MediaServer missing files and not updating try deleting .dbdir folder on the root of that drive
and replug it
in on the back after ejecting and pulling out.
so it rebuilds and makes the files as it dont seem
to have a update button in firmware access or
a web interface for the miniDLNA software used
