Would like to know the same thing.  Did you happen to try it out yourself yet with the WD 1.5 Green Drives?

It is my planned upgrade.

One thing that gets me... the firmware says "added support for 1.5TB drives" but there is not a single 1.5 listed on the supported drive list... whats up?

The fix for the 1.5TB drives was to address the issue with 1.5TB drives not 1 specific model. Therefor Western Digital drives should work as well however I do not know if D-Link has tested this model in the unit.

The issue with the 1.5TB drives was a scripting issue in the Web GUI not the software raid so the Western Digital drives should work fine as well with this update.
