a little help is needed.
I have Dlink-325 and it is a great machine. However I found myself in strange situation.
I need to copy larger amount of files from NAS hdd (volume1) to external USB i pluged in (usbdisk1_1).
1. Simplest way is to use network shares and initiate copy/paste from PC. But that way is too slow, since PC is processing copy-paste process over network. But it works.
2. I connected with FTP and I see volume1 and usbdisk1_1 but FTP protocol does not support copy/paste, nor moving between partitions on remote machine
3. I tried with Web file server, but it does not see USBDisk1_1 device that is connected to NAS (why is that? that would be most practical way, since NAS is handling copy-paste process)
4. I tried with Ayaxplorer, but hat app sees only Ayax folder on server, cannot get is to see the root file system and volumes.
Can someone give me the clue what to do? To explain again, I am looking for a way to initiate copy-paste process on NAS server between volume1 and usbdisk1_1, so NAS can do all copy-paste actions which should be fastest way. Something like on pc, when you connect with remote destop and initiate copy-paste. You can then disconnect and leave remote server to do all the youb, and connect when all is finished.
How can I do this, please advise. Thank you all in advance.
