I think that D-Link should sort out the DHCP drop out issue, it seems to be a bug within the firmware followed by other router devices firmware updates, as I've been trying to find a solution for this for ages, which revert to me having static assign the I.P on the devices than oppose to use the DHCP server. The reason I believe it's the firmware, is because my friend has the same issue as me on a DIR-615, I even feel bad for recommending them... The DHCP will stop assigning I.P devices after a certain threshold (1-2 days), an hard shut down makes it working again. But I can see in the forum I'm not alone, I tried all possibility and methods that are available. I'm currently a network adminstrator using an Draytek router for our network and I just cannot figure out this D-Link bug
