Mixing AFT and non-AFT drives
« on: August 17, 2012, 12:22:21 AM »

Currently I have a WD caviar Blue (250GB) as JBOD in my dns320 (fw v: 2.02).

I'm planning to get a WD Red 2TB which is obviously AFT.
If I mix these 2 drives in my dns320 as JBOD, will there be any problems or issues? Obviously the Blue is a non-AFT drive.

Thanks in advanced.

I have both AFT and non-AFT configured as standard volume so I don't think there will be a problem.

Nonetheless, I asked D-Link to provide some clarification, as this is a common question raised on all of the ShareCenter boards.
