Printer Server - Scanner on OS X from DNS320?
« on: October 06, 2012, 08:00:29 AM »

I just installed the latest official firmware release v2.03 after been on the beta release for some months.

I installed a printer to the USB port of the DNS320; an Epson Stylus Photo RX620 All-in-one printer. I am working on a Mac with OS X 10.7.5, for which I did Software Update to install the latest drivers for the printer.

The question is: Can I use the scanner remotely? If so, what is the procedure to add it. In the Image Capture software the device in not listed.

Thanks!

I connected the RX620 directly to the Mac, and effectively all drivers are installed (scanner working).

I know the DNS320 manual says only printer functionality available. But, I was wondering if there is some trick or method to make it work.
