Issues when not connected to the Internet
« on: December 05, 2012, 10:01:35 AM »

Hi Guys,
Wondering if you can help me out a bit.
Basically, I've got two DCS-932L Cameras and want to use them wirelessly at a takeaway with just a D-Link router and a pc running D-ViewCam without an Internet Connection.

The problem I'm having is the camera disconnects for a few seconds, and then reconnects back. I've tried it with two different D-Link routers but having the same issue, this happens even if I try with just with an ethernet connection.

However, I've found out, if I set the D-Link router in Access Point Mode and connect it to my main router at home, then the cameras work fine with no issues.

Has anyone got any advice for me please?

Thanks

Played around with the two routers, re-setup the static IP addresses and now they both seem fine over WiFi which is very strange since I haven't done anything else.
Will let you know if the camera's are fine from now on :)
