edit - I'll put 2 x 3TB in next time and make sure it striped to Raid1!!
One clarification. . . data is striped in a RAID-0 and RAID-5, but
not RAID-1. Striping refers to distributing parts of a stored file across multiple HDDs to increase redundancy and improve access speed (in some cases). RAID-1 simply replicates the file on two companion HDDs in the same array, but does not stripe data.
