this  is for multiple methode connection guide for dsl 2750u
1-adsl
2-fiber optic
3-broadband
for dsl 2750u model
DSL-2750U CONFIGURATION GUIDE
 
For ADSL Connection
1. Open Internet Explorer and type http://192.168.1.1 on the address bar. Type “admin”on both the username and password field.
2.  Click Advanced Setup > Layer 2 Interface > ATM interface. Click Add.
3.  Under ATM PVC Configuration set the following:
 VPI=
 VCI=
DSL Link Type= select EOA for PPPoE otherwise select PPPoA (call ISP to verify your connection type and VCI-VPI values)
Encapsulation: LLC/Encapsulation

Click Apply/Save

4.  Click Advanced Setup > WAN Service. Click Next

5. Type the username and password .

6. Under routing- Default Gateway, click next.

7. Under DNS Server Configuration, click next.

8. Under WAN/ Setup Summary, click Apply/ Save.


For Fiber Optic Connection
1.   Open Internet Explorer and type http://192.168.1.1 on the address bar. Type “admin”on both the username and password field.
2.  Click Advanced Setup > Layer 2 Interface > ETH interface. Click Add.
3. Under ETH WAN configuration, select Default Mode. Click Apply/ Save
4. Click Advanced Setup > WAN Service. Click Next.
5.  Under WAN Service configuration, select PPP over Ethernet, click next.
6.  Under PPP Username and password, type the username and password provided by your ISP. Click next.
6. Under routing- Default Gateway, click next.

7. Under DNS Server Configuration, click next.

8 . Under WAN/ Setup Summary, click Apply/ Save.

For Broadband Connection
1.   Open Internet Explorer and type http://192.168.1.1 on the address bar. Type “admin”on both the username and password field.
2.  Click Advanced Setup > Layer 2 Interface > ETH interface. Click Add.
3. Under ETH WAN configuration, select Default Mode. Click Apply/ Save
4. Click Advanced Setup > WAN Service. Click Next.
5.  Under WAN Service configuration, select IP over Ethernet, click next.
6. Under WAN/ IP Settings click next.
7.  Under Network Address Translation, select Enable NAT, click next.
8. Under routing- Default Gateway, click next.

9. Under DNS Server Configuration, click next.

10. Under WAN/ Setup Summary, click Apply/ Save.

Any reboots or power cycles that need to happen after these configurations are applied?

Yes the reboot is recommended.
