I would like to have multiple rules for multiple PCs. Can the 2750B do this?

I added a rule for one MAC address, which I use for school days. I would like to add another rule for the same MAC address for weekends, but it says "That rule already exists".

The name and schedule are different so it must only be looking at the MAC address, which IMHO, with all due respect, seems a little naive.

I had a DIR-655 and I could add multiple rules for multiple computers easily through the access controls, but an equivelent doesn't seem to exist on the DSL-2750B.

If I can't do this through the parental controls, is there a way I can configure an outbound filter to block all access for a few PCs based on a schedule? I don't really understand the filtering rules, despite reading stuff on the 'net (which is mostly brand/model specific).

If not via filters, is there another way?

thanks
Tanya

Hi Tanya,
Did you find a fix for this?
I am also trying to find a way to do this.

I recommend phone contacting your local DLink support office and ask for level 2 or higher support.
I presume there isn't a way to schedule or have separate rules for certain time frames.
There maybe a way to use scheduling to set up uses for specific IP addresses.

Let us know how it goes.
