Hello,

i have a network build like this:

network 1 (192.168.0.x)- DIR-615 - network 2 (10.3.x.x) - Gateway2 - (internet)

I have seen that on the DIR-615 are routing-entries for the entered DNS-Servers (i.e. for the DNS-Server 10.3.1.1
Destination-IP: 10.3.1.1 netmask: 255.255.255.255 Gateway: Gateway2...)
These tables are set automaticly for each DNS-Server I entered in the Setup-menu. Is there any reason that ANY DNS-Server is only reachable over Gateway2 (the default-gateway for the DIR-615)? I have seen this on no other router ever and I can see no reason for this entry.

Having 2 routers on the same line can cause connection problems.
Double NAT

You could try putting the 615 into the DMZ on the Gateway.

I think you didn't unterstand my problem. My question is: For what is this entry in the routing table? Because it is useless to send the Data for the 10.3.x.x-network to Gateway2 and then back. It creates only load on the connection to Gateway2 and on the Gateway2. The data doesn't go to the internet.
So it can't be a double NAT problem, because there is no problem with the connection itself but with the routing table which is created by the DIR-615 itself.

Have you played with manual DNS entries under Setup/Internet yet and disabled DNS Relay under Setup/Networking?

We'll need to know the Rev version of this 615. One Rev E I see has routing table status however it can not be configured. I looked at a Rev A and B and they do not reflect a routing stable status at all.

I presume that any custom routing table configuration may not be possible on this router.
This router is meant to be a main host router and being the single host router on a network. Working with any other routers and configurations that this router might not support would be beyond the scope and capabilities of the router.

I would phone contact your local regional DLink support office and inquired about your Rev version of router when you get that information and see what it supports and maybe there can be some configuration done to get what you need going. Ask for level 2 or higher support.

Could you re-describe your network? From what I understand so far

ISP Gateway > DIR-615 (192.168.0.x) > Router 2 (10.3.x.x)

Assuming that is correct, can you give me the WAN/LAN IP config for each? Like:
