DCS Cameras and mydlink lite application on android smartphone

Hello . Has anybody tried to install successfully the mydlink lite application on android smartphone ? Does it work using a UMTS network ?

I don't know what UMTS is..but it works on my HTC Hero Android 2.1x.... on Sprint 1x/3g in USA.
