Hello, I have a pair of new SEAGATE Constellation™ ES.3 ST4000NM0033 and was planning on buying a DNS325. I see these drives in the compatibility list, but in RED typeface. Does this mean they do not work?
Thank you.

I made all the 4TB HDDs red so they stand out (i.e. easier to see on the list).

I just bought it and installed the disks. I have firmware 1.03. Even though I can select RAID 1 it sets up two separate 4TB volumes. One on each disk. Any tips/clues?

Thank you.

I split your question into a new thread: DNS-325 - HDD Configuration Issue

The "Seagate Constellation CS 3.5  ST3000NC000" works fine on the DNS-325 of my friend. Installed yesterday.

Can you guys tell me what's the different between standard Seagate HDD 2 TB and Seagate CCTV & Surveillance 3.5" 2TB. I really don't get about these things. is Seagate CCTV & Surveillance 3.5" 2TB can be used as a standard HDD?

Thanks ;)

I posted this in the regular forum a while ago, regarding the 6TB WD Reds.  The only update is these have continued to be working fine, just added about 200 GB more data since then.

I have ~2TB of data on both of my 6TB Reds on my DNS-345 and have been using them daily for about 5-1/2 months without any issues.  The DNS-325 and DNS-345 are comparable as far as HDD compatibility are concerned.
