Deleted /bin Directory... how do I get it back?
« on: February 15, 2013, 11:35:48 AM »

Good Evening,

tempering with fun_plug I logged into my dlink dns 320l device with telnet and accidently deleted /bin. Factory reset will not get this back, right?

Any suggestions?

Thanks and a nice evening,

Have you tried rebooting the NAS? /bin seems to live on ramdisk so it should be recreated at each boot:

Code: [Select]
$ df /bin/
Filesystem     1K-blocks  Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/ram0           8919  6431      2028  77% /
