Little backround on me. I'm new here which is good. I'm a firmware engineer for my career which is great. So I posted in the other forum that I was unhappy with 1.10NA so being the guy I am I looked around. And on the D-Link ftp site I find a newer firmware. Bleeding Edge new, perhaps this morning after the coffee.

I know they tell everyone that you should never connect a Usb Hub to the router. I've got a Belkin F5U307. This has 7 Ports and I run my Unix Dev Kernel from one of the usb drives that I can mount with no problem. Yeah that alone is sexy now.

It looks like 1.11 is no longer in beta as of 5 May.  1.11 shows the following changes:

Firmware: 1.11
Date: 05/04/09

1. Added back "11b" on GUI.
2. Added Advanced DNS help description
3. Fixed PPTP and L2TP Set "Manual" connect mode issue. Change to "Manual" and "Maximum Idle Time" becomes gray,but still "1" minute.
4. Fixed Port Forwarding rule issue,if set more than 8 UDP or TCP port, it will show Warning message.
5. Fixed if set more than 8 Trigger or Firewall port in Application Rules, it will show Warning message.
6. Fixed bug: When QRS set wan type of rt to DHCP, the rt will not set Primary and Second DNS.
7. Add D-Link DNS feature.

Since 1.10 is no longer listed on the firmware download page have are all of the changes in 1.10 been rolled into 1.11?  From a support/documentation point (e.g. for a new end user not aware that 1.10 every existed) on the surface it appears that the changes made in v1.10 never existed since nothing between 1.01 and 1.11 shows up documented on the download page.  Version 1.11 should at least make note that the following changes where also made since the release of 1.01.

2. Re-design GUI: Add "Advanced DNS Service" and changes the description.
3. Modify the term from "Network USB" to "Shareport" in the option of "My USB Type is:"
4. Fix IGMP issue when Enable Multicast Streams.

6. Fix Guest Zone,SharePort(USB spec v1.05) Enable Routing Between Zones error.
7. Fix WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK Security set special character error.
8. Firmware cannot be downgraded to previous versions.
9. Add Graphical authentication.
10. Removed 802.11b support
11. Update XML Agent 1.08
12. Fix Router time is not reset when factory reset.
13. Fix DNS Relay issue.
14. Upnp-X fixed
15. HTTPS Certificate
16. Fix schedule end time error.
17. Update new SharePort
18. BT improvement.
