BT Bug
« on: May 05, 2009, 04:06:02 PM »

Hi!

I've noticed a bug in the Bit Torrent file manager. I will explain myself:

If your torrent have as name something that contains "strange" characters, BT wont move it from incomplete to complete. For example: i've got 2 torrents just downloaded that has "á", "í" and "ó" at it's name, therefor, the same chars would appear at the name of the folder where the files will be placed when downloading. The difference between this torrent and an other that hasn't got theese chars, are that te frist one appears in the complete folder when finished, while the second still stands in the incomplete (also, it appears in the Web GUI like 100% completed, but stopped).

I think it could be because of the unix command "mv". When moving the entire folder, it just can't handle the special chars, because of the diferent charsets, so it can't find the specified folder and therefor, don't move it.

Hope you have understood me, and sorry for my bad english :) i'm spanish (hehe, that also the cause of the bug and the special chars :P)

It's not a bad bug, but it might not be a good feature hehe ;)
