Can you do a remote backup to a nas that is on the same router as the dns325?

I cant try this till later but wanted to try the setup as a test.  Can i configure a remote backup to another nas device connected to the same router as the dns325 is connected to? I would move the target nas to another location later once i was sure it was all working so it would only be to test the config.  Anyone try this?
