I have two DCS-932L network cameras in my home and both are constantly generating network traffic. The traffic is outbound to four different IP addresses with three being for signal.mydlink.com/amazonaws.com and the last address for an NTP server that I chose. I have configured the cameras to use NTP since for some reason if the power goes out the cameras do not keep the correct time. Although I've put a deny rule on my firewall which prevents the traffic from ever reaching those addresses (except to the NTP server), I want to stop the cameras from even trying thus preventing the unnecessary traffic. I do not even use the MYDLINK website since I use another method of accessing my camera remotely so I don't understand why the cameras want to go to this signal.mydlink.com website. Thanks in advance!

I saw that thread already but it does not mention anything about stopping the cameras from even attempting to access those sites.

Have you phone contacted D-Link support directly and inquired about this? I would for immediate help and information. Please use the phone to get in contact. Email support will probably not gain any information or resolve this. Ask for level 2 or higher support.

Please let us know what they say.
