Very Poor Wireless Performance...
« on: March 18, 2013, 06:39:28 AM »

Is anyone having issues with poor wireless connectivity with the 2132L.

Works when its about 2 or 3m away from the AP... More then that and there is no connection back to the AP...

Pretty disappointed in the performance, when a $70 Foscam camera has better range then a $220 Dlink.

If anyone has any handy hints to get some better wireless performance out of the camera let me know, or do I have a dud camera...

Thanks.

Problem appears to have resolved itself.

Unit will not power on at all now.

I went to move it closer to the AP to see if it would work, now nothing happens.

I have the same problem but it boils down to the wireless router setting, in my case.

To solve this problem, basically I set the wireless router to transmit 11n signals only and on a clear channel.

Now my router can see the IP cam from 50m away and with 3partition wall in between and with signal in the -80 to -70db range according to my wifi analyser on my Android phone.
