Device compatibility with the DNS-321
« on: May 15, 2009, 07:17:59 AM »

I'm researching using the DNS-321 to allow file/media sharing between the following devices.
3 - Windows 7 RC computers
1 - Windows Vista MCE (might be upgraded to W7 though)
1 - WXP SP3 machine
PS3
Xbox360
DirecTV HR-22

I've read allot of the posts on Windows 7 here, but I'm unable to determine if the DNS-321 does or doesn't work with W7RC1, So my first question is, Does it? If not, what about upgrading the 321 to a beta firmware (1.03r6)?

Should I expect any issues sharing media to the other devices listed above? I see there's a known issue with the 360 and filename limitations, can I get around that with the PS3?

I just wanted to ask before I drop the cash on the DNS-321.
Thanks!

I'm using the DNS-321 with a Windows 7 RC and several XP (home, pro, mmc)

I'm running 1.01.
