Red Light
« on: August 05, 2013, 06:18:55 PM »

I put my DIR-505 on hotspot mode and I accidentally disconnected it. Now I only get a red light and can't reset or do anything with it. I left it connected over night but I still get the red light. After updating the firmware to the latest it ran smoothly but now it will not work. I can't connect to it even with ethernet.

Did you do the reset by pushing a paperclip into the hole between the two jacks - hold it in until the LED flashes.

I held it for over a minute and it still didn't flash. I disconnected and reconnected it to the power and tried again and it didn't do anything

You may need to phone contact your regional D-Link support office and get some additional help..Even RMA.
