When I try to switch off the speaker function in the Audio Set Up config screen and press SAVE, I get an error message "Start Hour is not valid".   :-\
Does anyone know how to fix this?

What browser does this error occur on? Does the error recur on other browsers?
Also, what firmware version are you using?

What firmware version are you using?
Did this issue also occur on your prior firmware version?

Have you ever try configuring the Night/Day Mode functionality? Is the time there set up correctly?
There may be a relation to the error message you are seeing.

Please let us know!

Kakashi:

If I use schedule, then I can get it to record audio. However that disables the automatic night/day mode.. :(

So one problem solved = a new one to solve :)...

I found a workaround: select "Schedule", enter valid times, Select "Auto", then save. It will save the day/night to "auto" mode, and it will save any other audio/video settings that you may have changed.
Still, please try to fix this...

Thank you!

I only care that you have the correct time settings if you have tried setting this up before (and now you have).
You can switch back to day and night mode after that.. I'm presume the issues is trigger by pressing the save button, the verification script code is checking all entries even when you are not setting up that option, this to move on to save the changes in the config. It may be an issue we can fix on the firmware, but for now, as a workaround  just apply the correct times and see if you can save the changes...
I have not been able to confirm this myself yet... but I will try it and report back to you guys.

Update: should have checked the thread before posting, snouffelaire prove exactly what I was thinking.
Thanks snouffelaire!  ;D

Thanks Kakashi. I've added this item to the DCS-942L - Firmware Wishlist thread.
