Is NFS necessary on volume in oreder Recycle to work properly (DNS-325)?

I ask this because recycle was disabled by default. I tested it on p2p folder which had NFS enabled. It worked. Then I tried to enable it on Main share which has NFS disabled, and it does not work.

Seems like some Samba issue. WOuld it help if I backed up whole Share and made new volume with initially set up recycle bin?
