Hello,
I have two DSR-1000N in two different places with two ISP connections for each. I've succesfully configured an IPSEC VPN tunnel between both devices using the WAN1 port on each device (following the how-to provided by D-Link at the FTP server).
Everything works fine. The problem gets when I try to configure the second connection (Configurable WAN) o the devices.
In setup -> Internet Settings -> WAN Mode:
- If I set WAN mode to "Use only single WAN port" and WAN1, the VPN works great. Obviously, all the connections use this port.
- If I set WAN mode to "Auto-rollover using WAN port" and WAN1, VPN still works, but the connectios still use the WAN1 port and never the WAN2. I think this the expected behavior, because the WAN2 isn't used unless the WAN1 connection fails. (Am I right?)
- It I set WAN mode to "Load balancing", I have Internet connection, but the VPN tunnel doesn't work.
The desired behavior is:
- Using the WAN1 as a dedicated port for the VPN tunneling.
- Using the WAN2 port for all the connections(HTTP, POP, SMTP, etc).
I configured some "procotol bindings" for this behavior, but in "Load balancing" mode the VPN doesn't work and in the rest of the cases this bindings dont.
Regards.
