Please confirm that the asymmetric VLAN function is for the following scenario:
p1 is ISP gateway
p2 is server A
p3 is server B
p4-6 are PC group A
p7-10 are PC group B
VLAN 1 contains p1-3
VLAN 2 contains p1,2,4-6
VLAN 3 contains p1,3,7-10
Everything should talk to port 1 (ISP), however PC group A should only be able to talk to server A, and PC group B should only be able to talk to server B. Server A & B are permitted to talk to eachother. From what I understand of the DLINK explanation - this is what asymmetric VLAN is intended to address. Is that correct?
