Can I use standard plug adapters like the one in picture to connect dhpw311av to wall? I will be moving to another country and want to make sure they'll work. Anyone tried it? thanks.

I presume only if the voltage going into the DHP doesn't exceed whats printed on the sticker. Phone contact D-Link support for additional help and information on this to be sure. Good Luck.

Good grief!  After 35  minutes of waiting and then 15 trying to understand someone several time zones away -who obviously has never seen or used the product- I got read the same info printed in the box: not to use surge protectors or power strips.  NOT A WORD about the second most common issue regarding electronic devices world wide: different outlets everywhere.
SO, if anyone out there has tried using outlet/socket adapters, the feedback will be greatly appreciated.

I think the adapter should work. Remember your just changing the plug format, and if the voltage meets and does not exceed the specs on the units power adapter, then you should be fine. Your only changing how the plug connects to a different format. Your still using same voltages. AC is not polarized like DC is. So you could use any plug adapter, just make sure the voltage and amps don't exceed the limits.

BTW, here's the reason for my doubts/question: since the instructions warn you not to use power strips - which change NOTHING in terms of voltage- its reasonable to wonder if using another device that comes between the adapter and the outlet will cause problems.  Anyhow, I'll try it and report on the outcome.

Yes any other power devices between the main outlet and the dhp could cause connection problems.
