DNS-325 locked up.
« on: November 12, 2013, 11:42:27 PM »

DNS-325 partially locked up.
I can see the files stored on the Share Center from a PC.
But I can't see them from a DLNA device (Sony smart TV) which was working a few weeks ago.
When I logon to the device as admin, it says logged in, and I see tabs for Home, Applications and Management, and below see My Folder and My Favorite Applications, but nothing is under them and they are dead links. The right side says Storage Status and Recent Activities, but they are all dead links.

I have powered off the DNS-325 multiple times, waited 5 minutes, powered up, no change.

I can no longer administer this device. Any help?

ok, solved the access issue, IE compatibility view, thank you forum!!!

But this still leaves the original issue: Can't access the files from the TV (this worked in the past)

UPnP AV server is enabled, and all folders show STATE: Good (Blue check)

I can try a refresh or I can try disabling and re-enabling the UPnP server..

Tried a refresh, System is building up your media library, will see if this works.

My BIOS is version 1.03 dated 6/13/2012. HW version: A1..

Will a bios upgrade resolve this issue in the future?

What good is this NAS if I have to constantly refresh a media library that hasn't changed?

Thanks!
