cannot find syslog in DIR-605L

Hi

I got a DIR-605L which firmware version is 2.00. In manual and specification, I find this device can support syslog. However, I cannot find this option in the device.
I would like to know whether the firmware is the most updated ones and how to fix the problem to let me use the sylog client function.

  • What region are you located?

It's not listed under Tools?

I am from Hong Kong. I use Traditional Chinese version and syslog server configuration is not allowed on syslog setting page on maintenance tab.

Syslog may not be supported on this router for your region. I recommend that you phone contact D-Link support Hong Kong and ask them about this. If this router doesn't support syslog, ask them specifically which next model router that does.
