My Music Application is empty
« on: November 17, 2013, 09:45:42 AM »

I've been playing a little more with my NAS and getting to grips with it a little more. Apologies if a stupid question. I have a number of files in the Music folder on my volume, all showing nicely in iTunes etc and playing fine.

However nothing shows in the My Music App, allowing for easy searching etc. When I go the My Music app, there is a message "Please copy any audio file(s) to the Multimedia Shared Folder or click the 'Refresh' icon to update the library/database".

My library has been refreshed but it's not picking up the files in the Music folder on the volume. Where should I be copying files so that they can be used in My Music or can I get My Music to read from the existing Music folder?

Any help appreciated.

Hi,

Did you manage to figure out how to get your audio files in to My Music?

Cheers

It was a mixture of location and file formats not being supported...

Anyone could supported file formats as can't locate them anywhere.
