Can I change raid1 to JBOD without losing data?
« on: March 17, 2013, 02:22:02 PM »

Hi All,

I have a separate backup system now for my pcs, and am using the dns-321 as a media server for the kids, but i need more overall space. I have another 150gigs of movies and music i want to move over to this device, but the space on volume1 is almost maxed. I would like to make them separate drives to maximize space, unless someone has a better idea.

Volume Name:    Volume_1
Volume Type:    RAID 1
Sync Time Remaining:    Completed
Total Hard Drive Capacity:    467149 MB
Used Space:    391666 MB
Unused Space:    75483 MB

Volume Name:    Volume_2
Volume Type:    JBOD
Total Hard Drive Capacity:    48107 MB
Used Space:    24 KB
Unused Space:    48107 MB
