I am trying to view video from my D-Link webcam, which is on an internal IP address on the router (192.168.1.203:1070).
This worked fine until I upgraded to Windows 8.1. It also works fine on other computers when viewed outside my network through a DDNS address and even on an iPAD.

In any browser, I now cannot see the video stream irrelevant of the plug-in used and irrelevant of the browser (Chrome, Firefox, IE).

If the browser uses quicktime, I get the error message 10061, connection failed.

If the browser uses Media Player plugin, I get prompted for a Network UserId & Password (& I have no idea where this has been set). It states the realm is the name of the dcs camera. Whatever I enter into this UID/PW field does not work (from user passwords to Administrator, dlink & windows passwords).

Other streaming media (e.g. from YouTube) seems to work fine.

I've read through numerous articles online and tried for the past 24 hours pretty much everything - turning on homegroup, streaming, windows & dlink passwords, credentials, etc..

Help please !
