404 Not Found error
« on: December 15, 2013, 02:38:36 AM »

Hi,

I am currently running firmware ver 1.04 and I get a 404 Not Found error when I click on Multimedia Services under Application Management. Has anyone had this error before and if so is it easy to resolve?

Thanks,
Al

I've never experienced it but my response is based on less usage than I'd like.
My personal opinion is that it sounds like you've got a bad firmware load.
May I suggest you reload the firmware to see if that corrects it?

Have you ever accessed Multimedia Services before upgrading to firmware v1.04? What browser/version are you using? You may consider trying an alternate browser to rule out incompatibilities (e.g. Firefox).

Hi,

Yes I was using iTunes server and UPNP to stream films etc in ver 1.03 without any problem. Latest tests are as follows:

OSX Mavericks (Primary OS)
Firefox 26 - 404 Not Found
Safari 7 - 404 Not Found

Win 7 VM
Chrome 31 - 404 Not Found
IE 11 - intermittent with Compatability settings

I have reinstalled 1.04 twice now with same problems. Everything else works fine except for the Multimedia Services page.

Will keep on playing and report back.

Thanks,
Al

Reverted to 1.03 and both iTunes and UPnP servers working in all OS's/browsers. Very weird...

Thanks,
