Error with playback on mydlink view

I have a 1TB HD and set the DNR-202L to continuously record and overwrite data once the HD is full.  So the HD filled up and I can access the recordings through direct connection to the DNR but the app tells me there is no recording data for playback by your selection.  ARGH!!!
