Wrong IP Address
« on: February 21, 2014, 06:46:02 AM »

Hi,
I have changed my modem/router. The old one had my NAS connected to 192.168.0.15 but my new one is at 192.168.1.13
I can see it has connected using 192.168.1.13 in the routers system log.
However on my laptop I am still pointing at the old 192.168.0.15 so it won't connect.
How do I change it?
I am running Windows 7 Home Premium.

You may consider reserving the IP address for your DNS-320 in your router to prevent it from changing. You will also need to delete the network drive map in your laptop and create a new one for the DNS-320.

Visit the following sticky post: ShareCenter - Important Posts & Information. Inside that sticky, you will find the following to FAQ posts.  Please read them for instructions:

It has worked Thank You.
I just wished there was a way to rename Volume_1 and Volume_2 in the utilities.

Unfortunately, there's no native functionality within the DNS-320 firmware that will enable that type of change.

Like this? ;D

Natively, no. Via fun_plug or Debian, yes.
