RTSP Issues
« on: January 28, 2013, 11:12:29 PM »

Hi guys,

I have someone what would like to stream live using a third-party host. I would like to use RTSP as to get high quality video and audio. However, I can't get it to work properly. I can connect to the camera locally and using http remotely but I can't connect using RTSP remotely. I'm new to all of this so it's very possible that I'm doing something wrong. I also downloaded an Android app to test it and I still can't connect. I get an error that says "Failed to Retrieve image from camera". Also, the third party host site appears to try to get the image from the camera but it just shows a black screen. I have properly forwarded port 554 and I left it alone. I only changed the http port and that's working fine.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Did you get it to work eventually? I'm having the same problem here...
