Live View Not Working

I'm logged into mydlink and can view my cloud router fine, but when I click on the camera, I just get the Loading circle and eventually a Retry button underneath. Have tried adding the site to the compatibility settings, have tried three different browsers, but I still can't view it.

I just bought the camera and the firmware is 2.00.05. I'm using the DCS-5222LB1. Btw, I was able to access the camera via the 192.168.0.xxx method. But I can't access it via mydlink.

What am I doing wrong?

Thank you for the reply. I had seen those two links prior to starting a new topic. Unfortunately, none of the suggestions worked. Live View fails to work in IE (after trying the compatibility mode fix) and also fails in Firefox and Chrome. It also failed prior to updating Java and after updating it and using the Security fix suggestion. No luck. 

Anyone have any other suggestions?

If you are using IE11, you may want to regress to IE9, which should work fine.
Something else to try: if the video mode is set to H.264, you may want to try MJPEG as the default value.

It's also not working on Chrome or Firefox. I will try the video mode suggestion. How do I change it?

If you are using Firefox, you will have to make adjustments to the Java settings as described here Network Cameras - Lost "Live View" After Installing Java Version 7 Update 51. Additionally, when you enter the live view in Firefox, you will see a security warning icon flashing to the immediate left of the Firefox URL address bar. Select "Allow and Remember" for all warnings.

If the above does not work, the video mode may be adjusted under Video Profiles in the DCS-5222L settings.

I regressed to IE9 and it's still not working. And I can't access Video Profiles because I can't access the camera. I very much appreciate your efforts, but this product has proven itself to be not as advertised. It's going back to the store.

Can you access the web UI from a browser on a PC on the same LAN as the camera? (i.e. using the IP address of the camera). If you are unable to access the web UI, you are most likely using the wrong IP address.

I had earlier similar difficulties with my DCS-2132L's and what solved my problems was a factory reset to the camera and reconfiguring it with the latest installation wizard. So really make sure that you are using the latest HW RevB installation wizard from D-Link website and e.g. not the one (CD) that was provided with the camera.

According to D-Link website the FW version 2.00.05 should already be up-to-date and therefore there should be no need to update that.
