How to play back surveillance videos on iPad?

Is it possible to do this?
It looks like I need to install plugins in the browser, which the iPad (mini) doesn't seem to allow.
Any suggestions?

I have an Android phone and i think it is not possible to watch those surveillance videos using the

NAS browser interface.

As a workaround i can watch live videos directly from the cameras using IP cam view apps.

There is also another option. See this link:

Create a backup, access the surveillance video file in the NAS and play the avi with a standard video player.
Not very practical but i know no other way.
