Open port 30005

Model: DSL-2730U

The firewall is turned on. But Port 30005 (associated with the TR-069 client) is persistently open. How can this be closed?

Is something using that port on the client? Ports are closed by default unless open by something on a client or configured on the modem.

As mentioned in this link, I added a virtual server entry to an invalid IP address for port 30005. Refer mentioned link for more.

"The D-Link support staff recommended that I stealth the port 30005 to an invalid/unused IP on the LAN.

This can be done under "Virtual Server" from the web management page (192.168.1.1) etc. and mapping 30005 to an invalid IP like 192.168.0.250. I tried it and the port is rendered "stealth"."
