Just bought another DCS932 (already have another one and a 930), however on setup (after a hard reset on the devie), it sees it on my network but then get the error "this device cannot connect to internet"

This is a 2nd hand one bought off eBay, is this the reason? I've switched off all my network security etc, it can see the camera, solid green LED etc, but won't go past this error.

Does the original owner have to unregister it on MyDlink or something?

please help I can't get any further

Performing a factory reset should enable the device to re-register with mydlink. The mydlink registration part of the setup process should not impact Internet connectivity.

Did you perform the Factory Reset using the following procedure: DCS Network Cameras - Factory Reset Procedure?

Try to configure the camera by connecting the DCS-932L to your router via a wired connection. Before walking through the Setup Wizard, you can manually log into the DCS-932L by entering the IP address in a browser from a PC on the same LAN as the camera. Upgrade the firmware manually and configure the network settings (e.g. enter the wireless credentials, set admin pw, etc.).  Finally run the Setup Wizard.
