I just got a popup from my v3.6 dlink viewer software about downloading v5.0. I downloaded it to see what it was and ran the installer on a VM i setup to test software so it cannot harm anything. The v5.0 it downloaded was from NUUO. A trial version. And it sure looks like a nicer version of my v3.6 software but with a different vendor name on it. Was I somehow hacked? I find nothing on the dlink site about any upgrade to their viewer. From the look of the NUUO app, they must have built the original dlink software.
Any ideas? Has anyone else gotten the popup about the upgrade? This is very odd.
