« on: June 26, 2014, 10:50:20 AM »

HI ALL,

IS THERE ANY WAY TO ACCESS THE DLINK DIR615 REMOTELY.

I WANT TO ACCESS IT ONLY TO SEE WHO IS LOGGED ON IN MY ABSENCE IN THE HOME NETWORK.

I CANT USE DLINKDNS AS ITS ASKING FOR ROUTER SERIAL NUMBER AND THE SERIAL IS NOT THERE ANY MORE AS THE STICKER IS GONE FROM THE ROUTER.

SOMEONE PLEASE ASSIST

EVEN DYNDNS IS NOT FREE ANYMORE.

Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

You can enable Remote Management Under Tools/Admin.
When you do you'll be able to input the public IP address and port address number that router gets using the following to gain access to the routers web pages from a remote location using any browser:
http://WAN IP Adderss:8080
