I have a new 322L. Everything has been done properly. One WD 4TB Red harddrive, Windows 8.1. It shows up in my dlink with the 5 942L Cameras. The problem is that I'm not getting Live view, or anything else in that window because its grayed out. I've been on the phone 2 different times with Dlink support (Over 6 hours) 2 different days and getting nowhere. I'm currently waiting for a promised call back because we ran out of time yesterday (Tech had an appointment) and thats been 3 hours late now. I have tried accessing and seeing Live View etc from 3 different computers, and even the first tech 4 days ago tried and couldn't get Live View to display. I'm not into anything else simply because we gotta get Live View running. Firmware has been updated to current one. My dlink.com works properly its just this 322L... and of course the techs not seeming to be of any help. This second tech is supposed to be past what I did with the first tech... but so far, we're getting nowhere, and of course he's blaming my computer. No way, my computer. Its 3 months old, Asrock z87 11/AC Haswell, 64bit, 32g Ram, Nvidia 780Ti, 4 WD 4tb Black drives, etc etc... No problems with this machine (cost me $5K)   I should just request another 322L... because here we are another week, nothing done, and its Friday right now. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm not getting a good feeling about Dlink and their support of this 322L.

Another week has gone by. I can't believe I'm the only one with this issue. The Support at Dlink didn't call me on Friday. So I called today. Still resolve. Now I'm told I should have bought a 3TB hard drive listed on their supported list. I will do that, but I can't return my 4tb red drive. I think that there is a plugin issue with my Windows 8.1 Computer. I can't install any plugins needed for Chrome or IE. When I try to Install CamCliCtrl it just hangs (could hang forever it seems). If I let it run, I can't end the process even in task manager. I turn the computer off and I get a screen thats says the app couldn't end, and I have to click another button to turn it off. In IE... plug-in problems again... starting with the Visual C+++ which tries to download... and of course it hangs too. Looking at my installed programs... 8.1 has this plugin installed and installed since this computer has been ALIVE... April 1st 2014.

This just seems to be a $1000 mistake.  I have (5) 942L cameras that work fine on Mydlink.com and on my android apps. Problem is of course, the infrared can't see through my windows. I really don't need to see whats going on in my house. I live by myself. It looks like the 942L are really useless in the dark because they are inside. I probably could have bought a 10 camera setup with its own DVR from costco and I would not have this problem.

Please there has to be someone that hasn't been able to install the plugins. I have noticed that all 5 of the cameras have a blinking green light on the back now. Before the green light would only blink if I was watching that particular camera on mydlink.com ie, if I was seeing live view on camera1 that camera would blink and cameras 2-5 would not. Now they all blink with the 322l attached. The 942L's are all wi-fi except for two which on ethernet (Because the wifi can't supply the signal to the network because of distance... and that shouldn't be a concern either).

I'm going to now purchase a supported harddrive out of their long list. Looks like another week of downtime for the 322L to be fixed.

This isn't cool. Anyone considering on buying this setup... I strongly suggest to think twice unless you can handle the support issue if you get live view to work on it. Hell I haven't even started to program how I want to record yet. That will be the next issue, if I can get past the plugin problem.

Hi

Are you are trying to view the NVR is it through Mydlink?

I had problems until i Lowered my security settings in Java and set the website and all its sub directories as exceptions.

You do this by going to Java Control panel in your Startmenu>Security Tab> Edit Site list. button at bottom/
add all website links you visit on mydlink.

If you do not have Java download and install it first from thier website as it is needed for the Plugin to work.

I also had to do this for the NVR direct Login. and all its links/pages I.e. <NVRslocalIPadress>/login etc etc.

i still have problems with the plugin freezing and crashing chrome. but ive come to expect this from the NVR. Very Frustrating and Expensive.
