An update: When I made that screen shot I was using IE8. When I used Opera 10.52 the menu was listed but the links didn't work in the menu so this may be a web element compatibility issue.

Of course my working SMC router Advanced menu works just fine and it's setup is similar to DIR-628.

Since your router is not quite functional, you might be able to re-flash it with the firmware.

You're so lucky that you are able to update your firmware, I can't even update mine. Everytime I update from 1.22NA to 1.23NA, it still shows 1.22NA after the update.
