NAS Recording?
« on: September 07, 2014, 02:29:56 AM »

Does this camera records directly to a NAS or it has to go through the cloud before recording onto the NAS?

The DCS-5222L can push recorded video directly to an external storage device. Although the length of a single contiguous file will be limited in length, so a recording lasting an hour will consist of a string of individual video clips. If you own one of the newer D-Link ShareCenters, the NAS software can manage the recordings and save video as a single contiguous file.
