Can't make a DCS-2136L send notifications and record video

Hi there,

I've set up 2 new DCS-2136L cameras.

I've configured (via the local IP address) the email (test notification OK), and scheduled events for sending movements notifications and record video.

Everything looks fine, but despite hundreds of tries, I cannot make the camera send a notification or record a video on the SD card (which is correctly formated).

I really don't know what to do.

Any idea?

How is your event page set up?
Download the manual to understand how to log in to the firmware and set it up there.

Thanks for your answer  :)
That's pretty amazing, just after your response, the cameras started to send emails, without me doing anything!  :o

I still just have a problem with the videos sent by emails.
I'm on a Mac and the videos are recorded in H264.
But when I open them on the Mac, they have green flickering…
Any idea ?

No idea. Try a different player like vlc for Mac.
