Hi,
I am accessing my DNR322L which is at home from my work and outside my home by port forwarding on my router.
When I port forward port 443 (HTTPS or SSL) on the router, I can access the DNR322L from externally from my work PC and my iPhone using the Telstra Mobile Broadband network.
However, I don't want to use port 443 because it is vulnerable to common port scans and attacks.
When I port forward at the router on a different port, say 5000, I can access the DNR322L from my work network OK, but the iPhone on the Telstra Mobile Broadband network can't access it because this network uses web proxies and appears not to proxy a non standard web server port like port 5000.
Does anyone have any suggestion or information on the Telstra Mobile Broadband network that could help me solve this problem?
