Where are the add-ons mentioned in the manual?
« on: November 17, 2014, 01:38:44 PM »

DNS-320L with 1.04b08 firmware. Ran through the setup wizard and can login OK. P166 of the manual lists lots of juicy add-ons, but there was nothing in the setup wizard to allow me to choose any, and the only one I can add through the UI is Surveillance. None of the others is listed. I know where to add them, but I need to have a local file, and there are none on the CD that came with it (bought new from Amazon). I can't find any download links on the D-Link support site or on this forum. :-[

Thanks. I found that eventually, but I'm wary of using add-ons from an unofficial source. Why should I have to?

And if you look at http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=60908.msg244620#msg244620 you'll see that the moderator has told vtverdohleb not to post links to those add-ons.

So if the only ones available are these disapproved ones, why do D-Link put that list of add-ons in the 320L manual?

Completely agree, they should all be made available from dlink (and easy to find).

There seems to be loads of people talking about using different apps but none say where to download them from. Extremely frustrating.

I hadn't seen the post about not to post vtverdohleb links. Nearly every link I find for an add-on points me to vtverdohleb??

Maybe someone can point us in the correct direction for add-ons or is it a white elephant??

It should be also mentioned that addons for DNS-320L are the joke... Almoust all. The processor has as small efficiecy that most of addons not realy works. It can be installed and run, but the speed is below any limit...
