Can anyone help? Using NAS ShareCenter 320 for AppleTalk Time Machine backup and whilst the Backup is working, I get a constant pop up message which reads 'Something wrong with the volume's CNID DB, using temporary CNID DB instead.Check server messages for details!'. I have tried contacting Apple as well as D-link and both parties suggest that is a problem with the other party and are not willing to help.
Can anyone give me a 'lay mans' step by step process as to how I can solve this as I have given up with D-Link support and will probably opt for another brand next time around as QNAP seem to be a lot keener to help their customers!
