Doesnt Stay on.
« on: March 30, 2015, 09:35:38 PM »

Hello everyone,
So i have been given some 320Ls to use at my schools for server backups.
The backup itself works fine, its only the next day when the NAS for some reason turns itself off and as such the backup fails.
I tried setting up the power on schedule to see if i could get it to turn back on, but that does nothing and the NAS has to be manually turned on (physicaly)
Anyone know how i can either get it to stay on 24/7 or make it turn on.
Also the power loss setting is on so it should turn on if its a power outage that is doing it. (server UPS's say there are no power outages anyway)

What FW version is loaded?
What region are you located?

IS this connected to a wall out let or a UPS back up supply by chance? Try a different wall out let?

Remove any shedules temporarily to see if the DNS stays online. Remove any power management rules you may have set up temporarily to test...

Firmware is 1.03B08.
We are located in Australia
Tried two different wall outlets, every other device in the building has no issues and the main server UPS's report no power brownouts.

ive disabled HDD hibernation and turned the schedule back off but it still just turns off?

Seems like this could be a faulty unit or the Power Supply could be faulty.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.
