Hi,
Just for information (because I solved by myself my question). It can be usefull for others ?
So :
- I removed from the DNS one of the two 1 Tb raid1 disks with of course an error message about the Raid 1 array,
- I tried to insert it into a caddy and plugged the caddy directly on the NAS USB input,
Surprise :
- the disk in the caddy (the old 1 Tb raid 1) is directly readable by the NAS,
- it appears in Windows Explorer as 2 shares (without something to declare before)
- when triyng to see the shares in the managing interface of the DNS, these shares appear but nothing can be modified about it.
- the share "volume 1" remains unchanged and can be modified.
Conclusions :
- each disk of an Raid 1 array is perfectly readable alone without any action.
If it can be of any help....
